joint는 일상어로 ‘관절’ 또는 형용사적으로 ‘공동의’라는 뜻도 가질 수 있지만, articular는 훨씬 전문적이며 거의 항상 해부학적 ‘관절 관련’ 의미로 쓰입니다. arthritic은 ‘관절염의/관절염이 있는’이라는 뜻으로, 단순히 관절에 관련된 articular보다 질병의 의미가 더 강합니다.
