   가시나무, 가시덤불 — ‘thornbush’는 가시나무 또는 가시덤불을 가리킨다. 사사기 요담의 비유에서는 왕이 되려는 보잘것없는 나무로 등장해 아비멜렉의 위험성을 풍자한다.
