economy는 ‘경제’ 또는 ‘경제 체제·상황’을 뜻하고, economics는 그 경제를 연구하는 ‘경제학’을 뜻하는 경우가 가장 흔합니다. economic은 ‘경제의, 경제와 관련된’이라는 형용사이고, economical은 ‘절약이 되는, 경제적인’이라는 뜻입니다.
